D-Type Water Tube Boilers

Detailed Product Description
The completeley assembled boiler is normally designed for 25 bars but is also available at lower and higher pressures on request. MIMSAN boilers are available in both right and lef hand arrangements. It is designed, manufactured, tested and certified in accordance with the latest A.S.M.E. or EN codes and regulations.

BOILER DRUMS
The steam drum is insulated with 4" rockwool and covered with a steel casing. A manhole is provided at each end of the drum. It is with all required internals including; feed water, continuous blow-off, chemical feed, steam driers and baffles.

BOILER TUBES
All boiler tubes are 2" O.D. The outer furnace tubes, outer convector tubes, and the internal partition, tubes are of the membrane type. This guaranties a gas-tight boiler without requiring an inner casing.

STRUCTURAL SUPPORTS
The upper drum is mounted on a gantry made of "I" beams which assures rigidity of the drum and tubes during transport and installation. The use of "I" beam skidsunder the boiler ensures easy handling during transportation and placing of the boiler.

CASING and INSULATION
Maximum insulation is achieved through the use of superior materials which effectively seal the boiler water-walls. The insulation is covered with steel casing on the boiler front and rear wals and ribbed steel casing on the side walls and roof. This construction ensures that the temperature on the outer surface of the casing on the side wall will not exceed the ambient temperature by more than 22 C.

ACCESSORIES
The accessories most commonly used and normally supplied by the boiler manufacturer are; safety valves, water level regulator, water coloumn with gauge glass and three tricocks, low water cut-off, pressure gauge, vent valve, surface blow-off and blow-down valves, chemical feed valve and soot blower.
